From a business point of view, microneedling can usually be positioned as a higher value skin treatment than a basic facial. In many areas, professional microneedling treatments may be priced around £70 to £150+ per session, depending on your location, products, experience, treatment time and whether you include extras such as LED light therapy.

You’ll train 1:1 inside my private academy in Mayfield, with clear guidance, practical correction, case study support and honest feedback throughout your course journey.

Do I need any prior experience to join this course?
Yes. This is a progression course, not a complete beginner course. You must already hold a Level 3 Beauty Therapy qualification or equivalent, or have at least 3 years of experience working in skin, beauty or facial treatments.

You should already understand basic skin anatomy, consultation, contraindications, hygiene, infection control and client care before joining.
Is this course accredited and insurable?
Yes, this course is CPD accredited. Students are responsible for confirming treatment cover with their own insurance provider before offering microneedling professionally.

You may be asked to provide proof of your qualification or relevant experience before your practical training day.
How long do I have access to the theory materials?
You get lifetime access to your full online theory, demo videos, and resources, so you can revisit everything whenever you need a refresh.

You’ll receive access to your online pre study theory after enrolment so you can prepare before your practical training day.

You have 12 weeks from enrolment to complete your theory, practical training, assessments and case studies, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
When will my practical training date be booked?
Your 1:1 practical training date will be arranged once you have completed your online theory and assessment.

This helps make sure you arrive prepared and ready for the hands on part of training. If you need a specific date before enrolling, please contact me first and I’ll check availability with you.
Will I be practising on models?
Yes. You’ll need to bring two models on your training day so you can get confident working on real clients. If you need help finding models, just let me know at least one week before your training date, and I’ll try to help arrange them for you. I’ll also provide my own demo model so you can watch a full treatment before you start.
How soon can I start offering Microneedling treatments?
You can begin offering microneedling professionally once you have completed and passed all course requirements, received your certificate, arranged suitable insurance, and confirmed any professional setup requirements.

Your certificate is issued once your theory, practical assessment, case studies and required evidence have been reviewed and passed.
What should I bring to my training day?
You’ll be sent clear training day information before you attend.

Please bring yourself, any completed pre study requirements, and your models if this has been agreed in advance.

All core training products, tools, PPE and equipment for the practical day will be provided. If you have purchased the optional Microneedling Starter Kit, this will be confirmed separately.
Do you offer ongoing support after training?
Yes. You’ll receive 12 weeks of support inside the Skinfluence community from enrolment while you complete your theory, practical training, assessments and case studies.

Support is provided inside Skinfluence so questions stay organised and easy to follow. Direct message support is not included.
Is a starter kit included?
No, the Microneedling Starter Kit is not included as standard.

You’ll receive your graduation gift box as part of your course, and you’ll have the option to add the Microneedling Starter Kit at checkout if you want key training and case study essentials ready to go.

Sharps disposal is not included. Students must arrange this separately through a licensed waste provider before offering treatments professionally.
Where is the training held?
Training takes place at my private academy in Mayfield, Midlothian, offering a quiet, relaxed learning environment (not a busy hotel room).
What products will I learn with?
You’ll learn using professional microneedling products, treatment protocols and safety guidance suitable for training.

Students must follow manufacturer guidance for their device, needle cartridges and products, and confirm suitability with their insurance provider before offering treatments professionally.
Can I pay with Klarna or PayPal?
Yes, payment options may be available at checkout depending on the payment method selected.

The course investment is £595 pay in full, or 4 x £165 split pay.
What time does the training run?
Training usually runs from 10am to 2pm, depending on group size. You’ll receive a confirmation email with your exact start time once you book. Please arrive 10 minutes early to settle in.
Do I get my certificate on the day?
No. For microneedling, your certificate is issued once all course requirements have been completed and passed.

This includes online theory, assessment, practical observation, case study evidence, treatment records and any required tutor feedback.

That protects the standard of the course and helps make sure you feel properly ready, not just handed a certificate and wished good luck.
